Mobile Arm Support

Mobile Arm Supports (MAS) are used for people who have impairments resulting from:

  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Motor Neurone Disease
  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Stroke
  • Other Neurological conditions

The MAS can be mounted directly on tables (the simplest), or on a wheelchair, or, with a freestanding frame, for example, at a dining table, a riser chair, a kitchen countertop, at the bedside.

 

 

The equipment range includes the Standard, Table and Elevating Mobile Arm Supports. Sub-components include arm troughs from infant to large adult in size including the new flying saucer. In addition to the vertical counterbalance movement of the Elevating Proximal arm, up/down assistance is available through the new range (5 combinations) of offset swivel including a pronation/ supination spring counterbalance action for a wider range of movement.
