This is the page on which we will inform you of major (and sometimes minor) updates to our site.

Tue 4th Nov 2008 – VAT exemption forms added

Two customers mentioned recently that the link on our VAT exemption page didn't work.

It appears to be the case that since we got our new site up and running last year, although there has always been a link to a VAT exemption form, the actual file wasn’t on our web server. It seems likely that we checked the functioning of the website offline, that is on our computer system, and saw that the link worked, but then failed to check it online. Needless to say, there is now not one but two VAT exemption forms online – one for individuals and one for charities.

Thanks to the customers who brought this to our attention, and if any other customers notice anything wrong with our site we will be happy to hear from you.

Tue 1st Apr 2008 – Calendar added

We have added a calendar to highlight any future exhibitions or training that Matrix Seating is taking part in, but also as a generally useful feature for our customers.

Fri 9th - Sun 11th Nov 2007 – Changeover to new site

We have migrated our main domain name, matrixseating.com, to our new site. Our old website is still available to view by clicking here.

September 2007 – Launch of new site

We decided to re-design our site because we felt that there was a major issue with useability. Primarily this concerned having to click three times to get to the main information. With our new site almost all pages are accessible from the front page in just one click, using our pop-out sub-menus.

We have moved the login form to a separate page as some customers thought that they needed to log in to view the site. It is only necessary to log in to view a very small number of pages, principally the Matrix and Mobile Arm Support price and manual pages. When you click on one of the links on the sub-menu for one of these pages, if you have not logged in you will be redirected to the login page.

Of the two parts of the green box on the right-hand side, the "Latest News" section has been replaced with this page. The "Most Read" section has been dropped as it was felt that, with the distinct nature of our products, what one type of customer was interested in would not necessarily be of interest to other customers.

The grey news box near the bottom of the page has been dropped. Any minor news we have will be mentioned on the "News" page; any major news will also be featured on the home page.

The black links bar at the foot of the page has also been dropped, as this was a straight duplicate of the main menu links and was felt to be unnecessary.
