Mobile Arm Supports training

Courses for Mobile Arm Supports (MAS) are run in conjunction with the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability and are charged on a daily rate which includes refreshments, lunch, clinical and hands-on training.

This is a 'hands-on' course for Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists
and other professionals (Orthotists, Rehabilitation Engineers, etc.)

(Courses may be held at other locations if requested.)

 

    Objectives of the Course:
  • To identify the clinical conditions for MAS use
  • To familiarise participants of the hardware and installation of the MAS
  • To increase awareness of the benefits and capabilities of Mobile Arm Supports
  • To enable participants to assess, fit and adjust the Standard and Elevating MAS
